NEW WANDA METROPOLITAN STADIUM

The new Wanda Metropolitan Stadium in Madrid, designed by reknowned sevillian architects Cruz y Ortiz, will open as the new official Atlético de Madrid Club Stadium next La Liga season 2017-2018.  STRUNOR will be the contractor in charge of completing the glazing package for Spanish contractor FCC in time for the new season.

PASSIVHAUS TOWER IN BILBAO

STRUNOR’s bespoke developed facade system has secured us the contract for residential tower in Bilbao by VArquitectos architectural practice. The tower is set to be the tallest Passivhaus certified (maximum energy eficiency standard) residential building, at 88m tall and comprising 28 storeys, beating current record holder tower in New York.

The development, managed by main contractor Sukia, is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2017.

NEW SALAMANCA HOSPITAL

Spanish contractor FCC has once again placed their trust in STRUNOR to carry out the New Salamanca Hospital project, following the design by architectural practice KYZ Profesionales.

ANTOFAGASTA HOSPITAL (CHILE)

STRUNOR will supply the aluminum windows for the new Antofagasta Hospital in Chile.

The project, designed by architects Carvajal+Casariego and executed by contractor Sacyr, will be the largest Healthcare project to date in Chile and is expected to be completed within the first half of 2017.

14 JUAN IGNACIO LUCA DE TENA

International design and construction company TÉTRIS DB, leading European Design & Build service provider, has commisioned STRUNOR the exexution of the new facade of the office building  acquired by  real estate investment company Axiare Patrimonio SOCIMI, S.A. in Juan Ignacio Luca de Tena Street in Madrid.

This refurbishment project signed by Tétris and architectural practice Gomez & Marcos Arquitectos Y Asociados SLP, comprises a complete cover cap curtain wall envelope enclosure including singular decorative insert elements on both North and East facades, as well as aluminium windows on the South facade.

WORLD TRADE CENTER GIBRALTAR (United Kingdom)

STRUNOR will be the facades engineering company to carry out the envelope works of the emblematic World Trade Center Gibraltar,  a World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) new office complex development designed by prestigious architectural practice Morgan Carn Partnership and executed by spanish contractor Sacyr.

In addition to curtain wall and aluminium composite panel rainscreen facades, the project incorporates the pioneering Kingspan Benchmark Kreate panelling system, and is due for completion in Summer 2016.

STRUNOR’S NEW INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN SPAIN

STRUNOR GROUP take a new step within it’s internationalisation plan in Europe, by buying a new Industrial Complex in Burgos, Spain. The new plant comprises 8.000sqm of factory area and 1.000sqm of offices area in a 15.000sqm total area plot.

The facilities are now undergoing a fit out process including state-of-the-art machining centres and assembly lines designed to cater for large schemes (towers, shopping centres, airports, hospitals, etc…) in Europe as well as North of Africa and the Middle East.

With a grand total investment of over 5 Million Euros we aim to provide the best service to our clients’ large schemes.

TRUMP TOWERS RIO IN RIO DE JANEIRO

 

STRUNOR is bidding for the contract of Trump Towers in Rio de Janeiro, a complex of five AAA 150 meters high skyscrapers of 38 floors. This will be the first scheme to bear the Trump name in Brazil and the largest urban office development in the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China).

Trump Towers Rio have been designed by prestigious architectural practice Aflalo e Gasperini, for whom STRUNOR already delivered the tower in 867 Paulista Avenue, and is currently finishing the construction of BMX City Park towers, both of them in Sao Paulo.

NEW EXXON MOBIL HEADQUARTERS

Spanish construction company Felipe Castellano is developing in Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) the execution of the American oil company Exxon Mobil headquarters, a project designed by huge North American architectural practice Page Southerland Page, LLP.

STRUNOR has secured a contract for the construction of the building envelope, consisting on curtain walling, ACM rainscreen facades and an internal enclosure of Aquapanel. Initial facade volume is 4.000 m2 and target completion date is December 2015.

STRUNOR GROUP LAUNCHES IT´S NEW ROOFING DIVISION

The managing and technical direction from roofing company “Cubiertas Muñoz” join STRUNOR GROUP and shape the team of the new roofing division for STRUNOR.

Coming from a company with over 75 years’ experience in the roofing construction in Spain that installed more than 50.000.000 de m2 of roof surface, during their extensive career, they have been in charge of multiple projects both at national and international level, such as: Adolfo Suarez-Barajas´ airport terminal T4 and its satellite terminal (200.000m2) by Richard Rogers, the Reina Sofia Museum by Jean Nouvel, the new South Terminal of Barcelona Airport by Ricardo Bofill, the pavilions of IFEMA by Sáenz de Oíza, or the Valencia Conference Centre by Norman Foster. STRUNOR GROUP extends its offer with this incorporation, aiming to become a leading company also in roof installation.
