MODULAR FACADE
The modular curtain wall system consist of prefabricated panels mounted in the factory and ready to be installed fairly simply. This option offers the advantage of saving a considerable amount of time on the building site. A special design of the profiles and pieces that integrate these modules allow a quick fit from the inside of the building without scaffolding. Depending on the chosen design a module can present openings that tilt towards the outside if needed.
The final grid of profiles with this system shares the same depth throughout the whole envelope of the building, and thus achieving a great degree of flushness for the façades. The different profiles are attached to one another using special rubber bands that ensure a perfect flushness on the joints as well as absorbing any cross-bracing stresses to which the profiles might be exposed.
The behaviour of these systems have been analysed and tested to a high standard of structural stability and also are airtight thanks to double EPDM (ethylene propylene diene Monomer (M-class) rubber) joints. Drainage for an eventual filtration of water is provided within the profiles. The external solution “viewed†or “with mouldingâ€, is characterized by quirks of different sizes between the glass sheets, and it is designed for its correct ventilation.
Solar panels can be mounted on the various curtain walling systems.
