Second stage of BBVA´s Data Proccessing Centre (DPC) project, designed by Arquetipo Arquitectos, collaborating architects of BBVA´s Headquarters, and also responsible for the design of Dragados’ Headquarters in Las Tablas (Madrid).
Unique building envelope due to the wide array of facade typologies present, standing out the anodised aluminium louvres outer skin covering the maintenance walkway.
Schüco FW 50+ and FW 50+ BF (fire-resitant) curtain walls and Schüco AWS 65 windows allow light into the envelope at certain rooms.
The plant room at the roof is diguised with an aluminium composite facade, while AC machines not exposed to the eye are protected by large dimension louvres.
Restoration of an existing curtain wall on the back facade has been carried out employing a new detail involving pressure plates and caps.
