STRUNOR will once again collaborate with architectural practice Enrique Álvarez-Sala Walther in this refurbishment of the office building at 42 Josefa Valcárcel Street in Madrid.

This will be our third project with Estudio Álvarez-Sala in Madrid in the last two years, after the office building on Avenida de Bruselas in Alcobendas and the office building on Paseo de La Castellana 44.

The façade of this refurbishment project features opaque areas clad with XLIGHT ventilated façade by Porcelanosa and vision areas implemented with Schüco’s FWS50 stick curtain wall.

Castellana-Generali

OFFICE SPACE FOR GENERALI IN MADRID

STRUNOR will be in charge of the refurbishment of the façade of the Generali office building at Paseo de La Castellana 130 in Madrid.

In collaboration with Arup, who provides architecture and façade consultant services for the client, we will work on the existing façade, replacing it with a new one based on the stick CW60 curtain wall system and Reynaers CS77 HI openings.

This solution will provide improved performance and aesthetics to the façade, in line with the client’s aspirations.

SOUTH TENERIFE AIRPORT

In the coming months, STRUNOR will carry out the complete envelope works of the new link building between terminals 1 and 2 at Tenerife South Airport.

On this occasion we will collaborate with main contractor Sacyr, along with partners such as Kalzip Ltd for the roofs and Reynaers Aluminium for the façades.

The scope include the Kalzip aluminium sandwich standing seam roof and the Reynaers CW60 series curtain walls and skylights, comprising a total of 15,000m2 between the various types to be installed.

Victoria Regina Tower

Victoria Regina Tower

STRUNOR will deliver the unitised curtain wall facade of the Victoria Regina Tower for East Flanders inverstor Baltisse.

The 22 storeys high tower block was formerly home to the IBM headquarters in Brussels. Located in the financial district and bordering with the Botanical Gradens, the tower is currently being redeveloped to provide a high quality mixed use building comprising office space, hotel, restaurant and a penthouse bar.

Our scope comprises the complete façade, mostly unitized curtain wall featuring structurally bonded glazing and decorative elements of solid aluminium cassettes and engineered marble, materials which will also be present in the rainscreen areas.

New office building in Madrid for investor Citrus Limited

Our company has been awarded the contract for the execution of the facades of the new office building in Madrid for investor Citrus Limited S.L. The project, designed by architectural practice Touza Arquitectos, is located in Pozuelo, Madrid, and consists on a single L-shaped volume to a total height of three floors plus ground floor and penthouse.

Touza Architects have designed a façade in which a wide variety of construction solutions, such as a stick aluminium curtain wall, an external skin featuring large aluminium slats, aluminium rainscreen, dry façade with sandwich panel, aluminium joinery and perforated aluminium plate cladding. Some 9,000 m2 of facade solutions conform our scope for this singular office building.

New building at 22@ in Barcelona

STRUNOR will carry out the facade works of the 36 Tangier Street building at the 22@ district of Barcelona

STRUNOR has been chosen for the execution of the office building in the 22@ in Barcelona. Once again, general contractor OHL and architectural practice Batlle i Roig have trusted our company for the realisation of the facades of their projects, on this contemporary office building for investor ESECETANGER S.L.

The works consist of the design, manufacture and installation of an inner skin of stick curtain wall characterized by the large dimensions on the glazing units in the vision areas, which will grant to the offices a great sensation of amplitude and luminosity, as well as the cladding of the spandrel areas with ceramic pieces of terracotta of large dimensions, for which it has been necessary to implement an ad hoc solution for the project.

The façade is completed with an external skin featuring a powdercoated maintenance catwalk and an external skin with bespoke extruded aluminium slats, all of the above in compliance with the highest quality standards, to achieve the WELL Building Standard certification for the building.

Park and palace

PARK AND PALACE

New high profile residential project in the heart of Madrid.

Strunor has been awarded the contract for the execution of the glazing package of the Park and Palace project located in 15 Irun St., in Madrid. Park and palace is an exclusive residential development located in a privileged area of Madrid, neighbouring at the North with the Park of the West and the Temple of Debod and at the South with the Royal Palace of Madrid.

The build of the luxury development, designed by Olalquiaga Arquitectos, will be managed by  a joint venture between main contractors San José Group and Fatecsa. Strunor’s scope of work will consist on the design, manufacture and assembly of more than 450 windows, comprising many different typologies, as well as their associated solar protection via venetian blinds and slats.

Sede Duro Felguera

FORMER DURO FELGUERA HQ

Refurbishment of the former headquarters of the Duro Felguera group of companies.

STRUNOR has been awarded the contract for the renovation of the office building, currently owned by Signal Capital Partners.

This work consists on a large-scale renovation of the existing building, which has an excellent location in Madrid and is visible from one of the most important radial roads in the city.

Prestigious architectural practice Estudio Lamela wanted this project to merge existing and new materials, being the latter fundamentally honeycomb panel, which provides great planimetry and beauty to the facades, and have chosen a palette of avant-garde colours that confer the project a very contemporary and renewed aspect. The architectural practice wanted to count with STRUNOR as the façade specialist of choice given our previous involvement and expertise in singular façade designs.
